Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Match Day was November 28 and 285 HPM fellowship positions were filled on that day. HPM participates in the Medical Specialties Matching Program that includes internal medicine specialties, allergy and immunology, and geriatrics. The Case Submission Subcommittee made its final selections for the 2019 case presentations. The committee selected 20 abstracts from early career professionals, 16 abstracts which will be presented orally, and nearly 100 abstracts for poster presentations. The committee was pleased with the high-quality case abstracts that were submitted and looks forward to the presentations at the Annual Assembly in Orlando.
