The Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA) now has 85 cosponsors in the U.S. House of Representatives. AAHPM is working to maintain bipartisan support for the legislation, targeting the Energy & Commerce Committee and House Republicans who previously cosponsored the bill. If your representative is on either list, use the links to urge their support of H.R. 647.
AAHPM staff met with Tom Gualtieri-Reed, consultant who will be facilitating the AAHPM Strategic Planning process, to learn more about the Academy’s operations. The meetings provided Tom the chance to engage with staff and seek their input on strategic challenges and opportunities from their perspective.
