Week in Review: May 3-7, 2021

Annual Assembly event platform is still available, but only until May 20 to those who had previously registered to attend. All Assembly registrants have access to the recorded sessions, posters, and wellness activities. Continuing education and MOC credits are available for physicians, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists – attendees must claim them by May 31.

Nominations are now being accepted for AAHPM Awards, Board of Director positions, and Nominating Committee positions. Members of AAHPM can login to learn more about eligibility requirements and submit their nominations. The call is open through June 3.

AAHPM members can plan to attend a watch party “Decoding and Applying CBME Tools in GME” on Thursday, May 20, 3-4 pm CT. Various coauthors of the EPAs, CMs, and RMs will discuss the application of these tools to enhance your fellows’ education and evaluation. Following a viewing of pre-recorded sessions where presenters will elucidate the EPAs, CMs, and RMs, there will be a live Q&A. Plan to attend.

AAHPM is a proud sponsor of the NASEM Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness. The Roundtable will conduct a FREE virtual workshop on Integrating Serious Illness Care into Primary Care Delivery via two webinars, to be held on June 10 and 17 from 12:00 to 3:00pm ET.
