Week in Review: October 19-23, 2020

Looking for a new position in hospice and palliative care? Attend the AAHPM Virtual Career Fair on Tuesday, November 10, 10 am to 4 pm ET or visit the JobMart to find your next opportunity.

AAHPM is planning to provide new content in 2021 along with a new learning management system. To make room for these new products, we are offering 50% off wide array of digital recordings through November 30 only. This is your last chance to access these products so don’t delay.

Registration for the 2021 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care (February 17-19) will open on November 2. We are redesigning the virtual experience so you can receive the best hospice and palliative care education and the opportunity to connect with others – in new and different ways. Check out the Schedule at a Glance to see what we have planned.

AAHPM has several resources to help you manage during the COVID-19 pandemic and boost your resilience and well-being. Share them with your colleagues.

Over the past three weeks 100 learners and presenters participated in Ascend 2020: COVID Edition – Next Level Leadership. The program included live presentations, on-demand sessions, watch parties and small group discussions. Key participant takeaways: get to know yourself, the need for mentors and coaches at any career stage, STOP method (Stop; Take a breath; Observe; Proceed), find time to dream, leverage relationships, and identify your strengths.
