Week in Review: February 17-21, 2020

Although there is still time to register for the Annual Assembly and the State of the Science in Hospice and Palliative Care, we are approaching capacity for both events. If you plan to attend, please register as soon as possible. At this point, we cannot guarantee that onsite registration will be available. Remember, if you’d like to attend both events, you can save an additional 20% on your Assembly rate.

 

The Journal of Pain and Symptom Management is seeking applications for the new role of Associate Editor for Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will bring clinical experience in pediatric palliative care and a national reputation as a researcher and/or clinician. Interested members should send a letter describing their interest and related experience and an up-to-date CV to Laura Davis by March 12.

 

AAHPM CEO Steve Smith is being recognized by Association Forum of Chicagoland with the Samuel B. Shapiro Award for Chief Staff Executive Achievement for outstanding service in association management, a demonstrated commitment to mentoring others, and leadership contributions that significantly and consistently have impacted the advancement of the profession.
