Week in Review: February 10-14, 2020

Although there is still time to register for the Annual Assembly and the State of the Science in Hospice and Palliative Care, we are approaching capacity for both events. If you are intending to attend, please register as soon as possible. At this point, we cannot guarantee that onsite registration will be available. Remember, if you’d like to attend both events, you can save an additional 20% on your Assembly rate.

The Cambia Health Foundation is seeking applicants for its Sojourns Scholar Leadership Program, which is designed to cultivate and advance the next generation of palliative care leaders. Scholars receive funding to conduct an innovative clinical, policy, education, or systems change project in the field of palliative care. Interested individuals should submit a Letter of Intent by February 21, 2020.

AAHPM has helped guide the creation of the Palliative Care Quality Collaborative (PCQC), which will offer a unified national registry for palliative care. Visit the PCQC’s new website, PalliativeQuality.org and follow them on Twitter @PalliativeQual.
