AAHPM Week in Review: September 2-6, 2019

Consider becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (FAAHPM). Fellows of the Academy are required to be: board certified (ABMS, AOA, ABHPM and/or HMDCB), members of AAHPM for 5 consecutive years, and active within the Academy. Applications for fellow status are due by September 16.

JPSM is seeking new Associate Editors for these defined areas: global health, clinical practice, QI and innovation, integrative medicine and diversity and inclusion. The term is for 3 years and will begin on January 1, 2020. Interested individuals should send a cover letter and CV to Laura Davis by October 4. Questions should be directed to David Casarett.

The ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exam in hospice and palliative medicine is coming October 10. Prepare with AAHPM products and earn MOC credits. Familiarize yourself with Assessment Innovations including the use of online resources during the exam. Be prepared on exam day.
