AAHPM Week in Review: August 19-23, 2019

Need to hone your skills to lead your organization in a new direction? Consider attending the Ascend Leadership Training Small group activities will help you connect with your peers, rethink your practice, and gain tools you and your team can use. The course will be held October 6-8 in Oak Brook, IL.

The American Board of Medical Specialties Task Force for Co-sponsored Certificates is charged with looking at the inconsistencies with continuing certification and making recommendations to the boards. Academy staff leaders met with the co-chairs of this task force this week to share HPM concerns. AAHPM will continue to advocate on behalf of HPM subspecialists through ongoing communication with the boards that co-sponsor the subspecialty.
